If there are inclement weather conditions in the area prior to your outing, the rental will be postponed or delayed until it is safe to go out on the water.
Inclement weather is defined as weather where there are unsafe conditions, such as a warning of severe, high wind advisory, lightning, or tornado as defined by the National Weather Service.
You are able to reschedule the reservation during the same rental request (weekday for weekday or weekend for weekend), depending on boat availability. If weather conditions are overcast, cloudy, and/or rainy, but there are no warnings that have been issued by the NWS, your rental still stands for that day.
If the weather takes a turn during your outing, seek an immediate place of safety. This can be a protected cove, unoccupied dock, protected shoreline, or inlet.
